2011-2012 Regular Season Kick-Off

Hunted a couple times over the holiday weekend in rough terrain so it took me a while to get to each tree...  

One day, I hunted just an hour but made 8 trees but couldn't find any through the leaves. The next time I hunted, I was out for 2.5 hours and made 11 trees. On the second hunt I saw 3 (one bailed out and one timbered...the 3rd got in a den on me) and got 1. I hunted my veteran female Mountain Feist, Gray's Prairie Daisy.

Along with Daisy I had young dogs, Gray's Circle R Rosie and Gray's John Colter. These two are gonna be nice! Rosie even got a first tree on ol' Daisy!
